Beccariophoenix fenestralis, commonly known as the Windowpane Palm, is a striking and relatively rare palm species native to the rainforests of Madagascar. This palm is renowned for its unique, ornamental foliage featuring large, deeply cut fronds that create a distinctive windowpane-like appearance, hence its captivating common name.
The Windowpane Palm has a slender, smooth trunk that can reach impressive heights of 10-15 meters in its native habitat. Its leaves are deeply lobed with a fan-like arrangement, giving the palm an elegant and sophisticated look that commands attention in any landscape.
