Seed Propagation
Neem tree seeds germinate readily and have a high germination rate, between 75 and 90 percent. The seeds germinate and emerge in 14 to 21 days.
Planting Seeds
Plant neem seeds 1/4 to 1/2 an inch deep in individual pots filled with seed-starting mix. The seeds need a consistent temperature between 68 and 72 degrees Fahrenheit to germinate well. Mist the soil with water whenever it starts to dry out during germination and growth. You can also start seeds outdoors in a nursery bed in warm climates. Select a spot that gets dappled shade to protect the seedlings from direct sun during early growth and development.
