Yarey Palm

This beautiful palm tree from central and eastern Cuba grows in savannas and dry forests at low altitudes. It forms a very strong and robust, smooth, whitish gray trunk, which can reach about 20 m. It has a dense crown of many very stiff, stiffly rising leaves with a perfectly circular outline.
